Default Have a rear anti-sway bar, other than Hellwig?

I've looked on the Web for rear anti-swaybars for the Ram, but all I've found to date is Hellwig, whose design I don't like. I've checked with Addco and other suspension outfits, to no avail.

Anyone here have any other brand on their reg. cab, hemi Ram?

Thanks.

It appears addco makes one: http://www.addco.net/Datsun-Ford_AntiSwaybars.htm#Dodge

along with at least Hotchkis: http://www.hotchkis.net/cgi-bin/EDCs...Extended%20Cab

Why did you not like the hellwig?? They all seem to mount the same way...

Speaking of anti-sway bars...how hard do you think the install would be??

Sorry, but the reason is the 1500 has 2 different shock mounts. One mounts with just a shock bracket and the other is from the 2500 that is made for a factory swaybar. The one that works the best is from Belltech. But then I did some mods to it because I didn't like the links mounted to the frame. I mounted the bar upside down from the instructions. Then I extended the front links by 6 inches. Then I finished with the installation. It is totally functional and looks great. But you do need a machine shop and a welder to extend the end links.

Many thanks for all the info. I'll check all the sites when I have some time a little later. The reason I don't like the Hellwig is that the mounts to the differential are far less than optimal for the purpose (i.e., these mounts should be as far out toward the ends of the differential as possible to maximize leverage on the bar. Also, the clamp-around-the-axle system is usually poor since any others I've seen can slip, negating the bar altogether.).

Btw, there is a good Hellwig install write-up, with pix on hemitruckclub.com as I recall.

Got to run for now and go top off the tank on another of my Mopar hemis, below. Thanks, again one and all.
