Default Radiator replacement/upgrade

As many of us owners know our cooling system sucks. Overheating is by far our biggest problem with the 4.7. Here is my dilemma. I am currently having an engine being rebuilt and need to know what our options are in the radiator department. I've remachined the oil guides to the 7th and 8th cylinder on the heads as far as preventative measures on the engine but I also want to put a better radiator in before I start putting the engine back in the truck. What are my options?

I think options are very limited unless you start looking at custom made stuff? I put a Hemi 2 row rad with filler neck (CU2813) into my 2003 (4.7) I have an electric fan with Moe's fan shroud delete kit which made the install very simple..
Good Luck

We are direct with both Be Cool and Griffin at the classic car restoration house where I work and I forever am trying to get them to do a direct drop-in for the Ram.

Griffin seems to be interested every time I talk to them but as of now it's just talk.

You could always do a generic and custom run hoses. I know we offer a generic all aluminum rated for over 600 HP engines that sells for under $300. But mounting in a Ram is gonna take some fabbing...

I was thinking about swapping in a dual core radiator in it from a diesel. Don't know as of yet if there are any fitment issues or if it would be a direct drop in fit

I am still looking for a radiator that holds together for my 4.7. I went cheap, failed then went upgrade a few months back and I just discovered that now that one is leaking too. Not sure why this setup seems to be so difficult for people to make that holds together but that is whats happening with mine.

So the mishimoto did not fit. So instead I installed a radiator ffor a 2008 ram and installed it. It's a thicker radiator than the 03. So thats the one i went with.
