Default wiper park issue!

ok guys, Had to replace motor assembly, sweep box rusted apart...no fixing it. Problem now lies with the parking position of the wipers. I plugged the motor in and cycled the wipers to position it at the stop position. Then installed the wipers. Now. When the wipers come on they go down and then sweep. They park in the right position, but they go down far enough to slap the cowl cover. To prevent that, the wipers are clocked 1/3 the way up the windshield. How can i adjust them to stop in the right position as to not go down and then up? Thanks guys. This site is awsome...Mike

Never mind guys, DUH! had to readjust the arm spline on the transmission...got it! Thanks anyway.
