2008 dodge 3500sarter problems

Does anyone have any answer for the 3500 diesel starter problem. Cranks but won't turn over. Will start sometimes when jumped. Have already replaced batteries???

I'm sorry to hear about your starting issue.

Do you have the 5.9 or 6.7 litre Cummins engine? Are there any fault codes present?

I would do a start voltage drop test and see how much voltage you are loosing at the starter. It maybe just the cable from the battery down to the starter. I will move your post to the 3rd gen section.
