Default Inlet pipe on water pump

I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi and I recently had to replace the inlet pipe on my water pump. The old pipe rusted out and started to leak. I bought an after market pipe and put that in but one of the bolt holes don't line up with the bracket on the pipe. The bolt is the very long one that is at the end of the pipe where the heater hose connects. I managed to get the top bracket bolted on so I was wondering if I need to put the second bolt in or not. Will it matter if the pipe is secure with just one bracket.
