Default 2008 3.7 ram won't start

I have 2008 Quad cab ram. Key turns over but won't crank. I have already installed a new ignition switch. Radio works, a/c works. Now it doesn't start door bing until you turn key to crank. Also light on dash for security works fine. It comes on when key is turned and shuts off after a few seconds. I have been trying to crank for 2 weeks. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not too keen on these newfangled four wheel computers (mine's a 2004), but do you hear a click of the starter solenoid? It could be the starter solenoid (I think it's mounted/integrated right on the starter), starter relay, the starter itself, or a bad connection to any of them. It could also be any of the things that try to keep you from hurting yourself or the vehicle (the clutch pedal, transmission range switches, or some other 'puterized thing! ).

Have you checked the battery connections for cleanliness and tightness? Have you had the battery load tested?

Already cleaned posts and installed new battery. Also had starter tested and it is fine.

Does your remote keyless entry work?

sounds like it might actually be a clock spring issue, or possibly a computer issue...

The clock spring isn't actually a spring, more like a coiled ribbon cable in the steering column used to connect the electrical components on the wheel to the vehicle. It's so you can turn the wheel over a few times and still use the buttons.

Problem is, I'm pretty sure the clock spring doesn't have a thing to do with ignition.
