Default Random misfire after coolant leak...please help

Hi guys
This morning went off to work as normal, halfway there check gauges light came on, temp was sky high, popped hood and saw coolant leaking from left side of radiator vertically down the seam, running from top hose connection down. So changed thermostat, first suspect. Everything seemed fine for several miles stop start stop start (I'm a lawn guy), then coolant/slash white smoke hissing out same area, however the temp gauge only went up a tad above half way. Anyway topped radiator up and drove toward my lockup but then it started misfiring and finally cut out and wouldn't start, left it about 40 mins and it started managed to drive it home misfiring all over place especially below 1500 rpm

Got home, brought new radiator, fitted it, bled system , but still misfiring, temp and cooling system working fine water pump seems to be ok, and so does thermostat. I haven't a clue what this misfiring is, put scan tool on and reads P0300 Random misfire.

Could I have blown a head gasket I'm lost , please help

PS plugs changes within last month

Thanks

Did you ever find out what happened? Mine seems to be acting the same way with p0300 but without the leaking radiator.

Yes, valve seat had dropped on cylinder 2. Ended up having to replace the cylinder head
