Door unlock works but not lock
I replaced my driver side door actuator. Now I can unlock using the keyfob again. However, when I try to use the door lock/unlock on the door panel it will ONLY unlock. It will not lock all 4 doors anymore. Any thoughts on what to try? Could the actuator I installed have any affect on that lock/unlock button? Is there a reset for this? Is there a fuse maybe controls the LOCK portion of this toggle switch?
Can use use the wireless fob to lock/unlock and you replaced the door lock actuator but when trying to lock using the switches on the door panel, it will unlock the doors but it will not lock the doors.
Ok
So what makes you think it is not the switch on the door panel?

It very well could be the door switch(other half of toggle just not working). But the switch was working prior to replacing the actuator. So maybe it was coincidence. Are you aware of any test I can perform on the door switch to prove the one half for LOCK is bad? I know the entire switch would need to be replaced though. Or can I create a jumper on the wires to trigger the actuators to all lock/unlock? I guess I could do that too to prove it is the switch. I am just not sure which wires control just that one switch.

my vehicle is a 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab pick up. If you can share the wire information I could need to confirm it is the switch, that would be great. I just didn't expect to have to replace the actuator and now the door switch panel so soon. Thanks
