So here is update #2, dealer does diagnostic on wiring, says no issues, service rep says his tech says TIPM, famous last words of a dealer, ask them if they can reflash the TIPM, answer no, so the next question from me is " if the change the TIPM and it doesnt work am I on the hook for the TIPM" and off course the answer is Yes, so the next question from me was " if it snot the tipm then what" silence from the service rep!
can this day get any worse 1500.oo and counting

I am doubtful that it's a problem with the TIPM... but without actually looking at the problem I'm not the one to say what the issue is...

I'd say they should look for corrosion on the TIPM and related components on the actual circuit boards, b/c that is something that you can fix with some soldering equipment (usually)...

The truck is fixed, TIPM replaced 1500 bucks later, the dealer was kind enough to only charge me 2.4 hrs for diagnostics, they needed 6 to confirm the problem!
