Exclamation Headlight help/suggestions

I currently have 6K HID lights on my 2008 Dodge ram 1500 (5.7L) and they have been nothing but problems. For whatever reason my year has problems with HID's and ive had to replace them twice. The ballast always break, even my latest ive installed which are top of the line. I'm considering on switching over to Sypder LED headlight casing. Has anyone had any problems with this brand or suggest another Brand? thank you in advanced.

I like spyder, affordable and they look good (see my signature)

Are you running your HID lights in the factory housings? Big no no. You also get what you pay for. Cheap HID e-ballasts will break down.

I've found headlights im interested in. They are Spyder LED Projector headlights that use T10 LED Ultra white LED bulbs.

Silly question here, did you read the sticky subject about HID problem ? You definitely need relay harness and resistor. Ive been using 6k HID on OEM 07 headlight, its been nothing but sexy. Ive installed HID kit + relay harness + resistor.

How good your HID's are is directly related to the quality of the ballasts and bulbs. Since your year RAM has headlights controlled by the CANBUS, you will also need to wire a resistor in-line to keep the computer from killing the headlight circuit.

Another +1 for Spyder. That's actually my next upgrade.
