Default Rough engine rpm under 2000 RPM

I need some help. I am a newbie here. First I own a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 with a 5.9 hemi. On the way home tonight I started to get a bad vibration when my RPMs were under 2000. I shifted the tranny out of overdrive to get high RPM range But still the roughness is still there. At a stop Idle is very bad but does not stall. What could be the problem? I need to know where to start.

Its a 5.7. when was its last tune up. Plugs (champion copper) clean throttle body. PVC air filter. Has it had a trans service recently?

got a check engine light this morning for cylinder #1 misfire. Changed coil and plugs in that cylinder to see if improved. It still is rough rpms but not as bad. can run in overdrive. I have not been able to take care of normal services such as tranny and other things but have changed engine oil regularly. Just getting back on feet so I can take care of those things......will do rest of plugs this weekend.

Plugs is a good start. Always better to start simple

found out my injectors were plugged frombad gass. Ran a bottle of SeaFoam in a quarter tank on gas and cleared the problem in less than a mile.
