Hi there! New to the forum. I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 4x2 with the 4.7L engine and automatic transmission. The truck starts normal, but when I put it into gear, either forward or reverse, it starts to move, then stops, and then a grinding sound starts with no movement. I put it into neutral and the noise stops. The fluid is at the full mark. Does anybody know what is going on? Please help me! Thank you for your help!

 

Transmission is fried. Gotta get it looked at by a professional.
