2007 A/C problem
I have a 2007 Ram Mega Cab Hemi, 88,000 miles.
About a week ago every time I restart the truck I have to turn the A/C back on. Once it is on it works great. Has anyone else had this happen?
Cause ? fixes?
Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Welcome to the forum!
Sorry to hear about your concern. To clarify – you are not shutting the A/C off when you exit your vehicle, then when you restart it you have to switch the A/C off, then back on to get it to work; correct?

Jack you hit the nail on the head.
Truck running, A/C on; turn truck off; turn truck back on, the A/C is off.
Must push button on dash to restart, A/C seems to work fine when on.
The truck has 90,000 miles and it just started this a couple of weeks ago, it has never done this before.

I researched your concern and there doesn’t appear to be any TSBs or similar documented symptoms. My recommendation would be to have your dealership take a look at your vehicle to diagnose it. Whatever you decide, please keep us posted!
