Default stealership

Well, after much searching, I never came up with anything for programing my keyless entry remote. I wound up going to the local stealer and got the fob ($120) and just kinda assumed that they would handle the programming as well. Well, they handled it alright. Cost me an additional $47 to have it programmed. damn thieves.

That sounds about right. Price of the part and a half hour labor to program it.

Parts and service are two different things, a part is purchased, and it needs to be programmed, do you work for free? Then why should I?

I charge them double so I can afford to buy their dinner.

Or, if they have an Obama/Biden sticker on their bumper, I can add 30% to pay the difference in my drastically increased insurance premiums.....we could call that "Wealth Redistribution" also. I works both ways...lol

I don't think the OP will be back. Entitlement mentality. They expect everything for free.
