blue connector behind light switch?

Default blue connector behind light switch?

hi, I have a 08 ram 1500, it had a blue connector behind the light switch. any idea what its for? any pinouts

Do you have power adjustable pedals? Mine is just below the light switch. Don't remember the color of the plug though.

if you have the trailer towing package..

the blue 4 pin is for trailer brake controller... it is on my 04.

Brake controller cables are buried behind/below the parking brake.

its not the trailer brake connector, I have that used up by my controller, this is right behind the light switch.

Without knowing details about your truck, maybe its the connector if you had automatic headlights or something like that. A different switch connector for different option packages. Or a fog light switch. If everything is working like it should I would not worry about it.

like post just above.. a factory option.... not on your truck.. unless something is not working.

Dodge most likely use 2 of 3 inside truck wiring harnesses.. for all the Ram bodies.. and options...
plug in or not .. doing down the production line
