Default Tranny Pan Bolts

Hey Folks I read here or somewhere that I need to be careful with the tranny pan nuts and i should pick up some spares as a few will get stripped. Why is my question. Second to that I heard something like the bolts are steel and the bottom of the tranny is aluminum. I thought steel - aluminum is a no no. Whats the story on this?

been this for a long time same with most engines..
and all motorcycles since the 1960's

small bolts.. so go easy.. aluminum .. so go easy.. SO GO EASY...

extra bolts.. not needed... do NOT use power tools here... fingers and 1/4 inch ratchet with sockets.

you are dealing with a 3 pound oil pan and maybe 8 pounds of oil.. not the 600 pound engine.

so go easy.
