Default Replacing broken sunroof assembly...Tips???

My new 05 quad cab has many broken plastic pieces on the sunroof track and is zip tied together in a couple places. The motor works fine, but since the track is broken it does't operate properly.

Has anyone every replaced their sunroof assembly?
Tips on how to remove and replace?
Can I purchase just the track or does it only come in one piece?
Discount website for purchasing the assembly?

Thanks,
Zac

Likely gonna be the whole assembly minus the glass and motor, probably a dealer part. Gonna need to drop the headliner so you'll need to pull all the pillar panels. And the headliner probably won't come out unless you remove the front or back window.

Wait....That can't be right. The headliner won't come out unless the window is removed?

The headliner will come out without a big deal. I found it easiest to remove through the front passenger door. I have a new assembly coming from a junkyard hopefully tomorrow so I should be back in business soon.

Glad to hear. A lot of them are too big to remove without folding/creasing/damaging them, often the windsheild needs to be removed. Good luck with it, once the headliner is out it should be easy, careful though, with the glass in they're heavy.
