Default Magnaflow Direct fit Catalytic Converter any good? 5.7 Hemi 1500

Hi, I got a code the other day for the Converter, If it turns out I have a issue what do you guy's think of the Magnaflow Direct fit ones, I believe these are a complete set up like the OE Y-pipe and all. These are a bit cheaper then OE.

Also which woulkd I need, Federal or NY/Cali emissions? I do live in NY but I am unsure how the truck was specked thanks.

Can't go wrong with magnaflow. Run your vin to see if your Cali spec.

Not sure what your state laws are but both of mine are fully straight pipes with non foulers and no codes

Bad 02 sensors may cause cat codes. Depending on which code.

I just replaced all 4 02 Sensors, and then the next day I got the code, I reset it so Ill see if it comes back. I think the code said low efficiency.

If I run the Vin it will say Cali emissions if it is?

No, Maggie Y is separate, usually about $25 and we'll worth it.

Maggie cats are very high flow and may throw a code, but a $5 set of non-fouler will fix that...

It looks like in the Pictures that the Y Pipe comes with it, and I asked the same ? on another forum and two people that have them said it came with the one side.

What are Non Foulers and where do I get them? Thanks

Basically a spark plug non-fouler piece that you use to get the O2 sensor out of the exhaust stream so it's reading clean air instead of exhaust air. Lot's of videos on you tube on how they work what parts to get.

Hi, So my Vin say's 50 State Emissions and under my hood it states that my truck meets California emissions, So I ordered 49596 and 49597 D side and Pass Side Direct bolt in OEM grade which they say are not CARB approved but will meet the emissions ( just not visual ) and not set a check engine light. They say they flow better then stock and they were about half the price so i am hoping they work and last, They also offer the direct bolt in standard grade but they said Id prob get a Check engine light running these, 93402 and 93403 ( these are about Half the price of the OEM grade ones ). Napa was the cheapest I found them.
