when driving my 07 ram 1500 5.7 hemi , at a steady speed the truck runs ruff like my cats are clogged. but then when i give it a little more gas it runs fine untill i go at a steady speed again. could it be the packing in the cats breaking apart and just rattling around inside the cats. or what could be the cause of this.

no codes. but i was reading another thread on here and i really think its my mds. i took of the sound resignators and stock muffler. straight piped from the where my cats y pipe is then added a thrush muffler.

 

and is it possible to turn off the mds with a diagnostic computer?

 

You need a programmer or a local tune.

 

Super chips makes a tuner to turn it off.
