Default Will a rear end from a 2005 fit my 07?

My 2007 rear has went out. I've been trying for weeks to find a rear end and finally found one but it's out of a 2005. My question before I buy it is will it fit? I've heard yes and no.

I believe they will interchange. A little bit different than your situation but I use an 05 in my 03. There is a slight difference between 4wd and 2wd. 2wd does not have the bump stop welded to the axle tube

Should bolt right in, if your 2wd done deal. If you're 4wd the gear ratios have to match.
