Hello
Im bringing the old post back as my 2002 2wd 4.7 jtec engine is dead and i have to get replacement - is there any trusty company to get one - i tought about accurate engines but there is a lot of complains about their motors... My budget is max 4000 usd and I can not spend more than that...

Thnx for any info

Shall I open new post with same title and similar problem? Or ask in existing post? If everyone start opening the post it will be gigantic 1 post forum.... I went thrue 130 pages of posts and didnt found answer to my problem so I ask in best existing post I found...

The "best" source would be Ma Mopar.... but, that will likely exceed your budget...... Aside from that, there are a fair few companies out there that offer crate engines, and you will likely be able to find bad reviews for all of them...... I have used Jasper in the past.... and have gotten duds from them right out of the crate as well. (rod knock, no oil pressure, bolts that weren't tightened during the rebuild, etc.....) No real experience with any of the others, and I have been out of the business for quite a while, so, I am sure some news ones have sprung up, and some of the less reputable ones from my day are gone... (or, operating under a new name.....) Might check Jegs, or Summit, see if they have anything interesting.
