Default 1500 tailgate same as a 2500?
I knwo this is a stupid question, and yes I did a search. Does a '05 1500 tailgate fit on a '04 2500? Any input is appreciated.

The difference between a 1500 and 2500 is what is underneath, the top is the same.

They are the same, well, except some of the badges on the quarter panels. It is all the underpinings that are different.

I have a 95 Ram 2500, can anyone tell me which year tailgates will fit it? and like the other guy asked but in the 90s, are the 2500 and 1500 tailgates interchangeable? Thanks, Bo

No thier not the same..one says 1500 the othier 2500..
All ram 1500 AND 2500 are identical bodys threw out all generations.
