So I have an '02 Ram 1500 5.9 and my A/C was fine then it starts only working when it is on full blast and its very noisy, other than that nothing. No fan or anything...then when I am idling it turns hot as heck. I know my truck gets in her moods but how can i make her feel better??

 

Check the pressures. Check the compressor. Sounds low on refrigerant.

 

You can also pull the blower motor resistor under the glove box. When you pull it and you see white crumbs or flakes fall out, it needs replacing. You could probably get by with cleaning the connections, but the part is only about $25.
