Default 2004 1500 bench seat

my seat is killing my back. i have the 40/20/40 or whatever bench seat, but i want a regular bench seats like real trucks used to have. anybody have a lead on how i might get one of these in my truck? i have searched internet with no luck as of yet. my chiro bills are getting as high as my truck payment. why do auto companies think that there is a one size fits all angle for seat backs and seat bottoms?

You could find a replacement driver's seat that has the lumbar support. I have it in mine and love it.

Multiple back surgeries and a spinal fusion here. Last two Rams have had heated seats, makes a huge difference, even in summer. I also have had the same suede 12v heat massage cushion for over 20 years, goes from just below neck to the back of my knees. I'll still go to that for longer trips. Even when not using it, it adds firm cushioning and about an inch and a half padding to any seat.

I wanna say I paid $35 for it years ago, there are a lot of them out there in the $30-50 range.

Another option is a simple lumbar support cushion. Many full length double as a seat cover and are often not much over $20...
