I have two 2005 Rams. I have had the best of luck with my two, in my unit there's two guys with 4.7 4x2 quadcabs (I believe an 02 and 03) and they have been nothing but problems, I have fixed them multiple times. They both recently sold them.

 

Funnily enough, of all the problems i've had with my 4.7 NONE of them have been engine related.

keep 'em cool and well lubed and they'll go well like any other motor.
