Default Fuel Pump brand recommendations

My pump went out exactly a year ago. I went online and bought an Airtex. Bad decision! The first one had a bad sending unit, the second one flat out didn't work, and the third was once again a bad sending unit. The company finally got fed up with me and they sent me a Spectra Premium. Everything worked perfectly for a year, but it just failed. The funny part is the pump motor works when its on its side but not upside down or right side up. I gave the motor a few thwacks with a wrench and now it works again. Piece of sh^t.

I know the motor is going to stop working again so my question is which brand should I got with next? I was looking at a Bosch, Carter, Delphi, or Denso. Any suggestions?

Denso is most likely the OEM for the fuel pump. IIRC, from my 2nd Gen Days, Carter are as bad as Airtex.

If the rest of the assembly is good, why not replace just the pump. FASS or Airdog.

Newer fuel pumps are a complete assy (sender + filter + pump). He'd be going through too much aggravation to tear apart the old unit to replace the pump motor.
