Just bought a 2004 1500 SLT Rumble Bee but the check engine light is on one day off another day. I believe its an oxygen sensor.
So why is the check engine light doing this, is this common for this sensor?

It is a o2 sensor. Shorted to ground. Yes the check engine light may not stay on steady.
