Default 2005 Cummins Knocking Rebuild attempt

Ok first post but I thought Id share. Bought this truck knowing it supposedly had a wrist pin knock but after hearing it sounding more like a rod knock. So im doing a full rebuild. First time diesel, First time rebuilding lol period....
Plan on getting the head redone, crank turned, and going .20 over on the block at a machine shop. pictures to come wish me luck......

thought about it but they only rebuild with cheap stuff. They never say what goes into a crate engine. Im looking to get 200k+ out of my rebuild.

You can do it for less. However no warranty.
