I received my Zevo LED's and inverters. Surprise the LED lights are made in Italy (which I hope is a great thing) and that there is a fat **** chunk of metal at the tips.. very surprised, must be a heat sink.. and I may have to get the resistors yet.. not sure. I took a pic of the back side of the packaging so you can read about it.
Huge chunk of metal.. wtf?
The inverters are smaller than what I thought they would be. Bout 1"x1"x2.5"-ish dimension wise. The input wires are normal wires, super small. The output have the rubbery sheathing which I find kinda weird.. maybe to allow for my wattage? I have no clue, it is what it is.
Packaged up, just took it out of the envelope. Static proof packaging.
The white wires (output) are the same rubbery feel that you have with iPod chords.. that funky rubbery sheathing.
SUPER thin almost not there rubber band keeping the 2 together.. how they are so cheap, stuff like this me thinks.
The input side is regular wire, albeit it is VERY thin.
I have a sick toddler so I am not sure I will be able to get to this this weekend, my son is more important than the lights, but I am itching to get them done.
I will have to figure out the aiming and all.. ****. This may take a lil bit of a day/night to do.
So many complaints on those lights. The CCFL is really old technology and the LEDs burn out. People try to add HIDs in them which makes the light output go from bad to worse. The look cool but like I said, most people usually later complain about them.
Those Zeno leds, they sell them at almost all autoparts stores and walmart. I bought a set and was not impressed. My old style led bulbs I've had for many years I bought off ebay were brighter. I left one of my old ones in on the drivers side and one of the Zeno on the right side and took them right back out and returned them.

Good luck with your setup though
That's good to know my man. I will see what happens, my first plunge into these type of lights. CCFL is the old tech eh? Huh. Were folks buying the inverters for them? Thanks again for the feedback. Also what was the type of LED's you went with? You have a link?
Huh.. I had no idea.. damn. Oh well, when they go out I will deal with it then I guess
I ordered some JST 2.5mm connectors (3 pin although I am only using 2 pins like they use on the inverters) for the inverters and will directly crimp them to the Halo lights. Unfortunately I will have to wait till the 20th or possibly later due to the fact they have to come from Hong Kong :/ but I will attach them directly this way and not have to cut/solder the wire on the inverter. Yes I could have, but I decided I did not want to. I plan on mocking up the lights prior to install and figuring out the wiring prior to install. I have a spare 12V battery that I can figure it beforehand.
Well so I was messing around with my spare battery and the inverters. Guess what I learned? The Spyder lights are NOT CCFL. They are LED type. The instruction manual says one thing and the actual auction for them says another. The inverter made them look about a 1/10th the brightness that just straight hooked to battery they look.
I think I have decided the LED's under the main lights, and the Halos are going to be hooked up to the fog lights.
Anyone know much about the LED fog lights out there? Any good ones? I don't want a halo style fog.. would not be worth it IMHO. Want a BRIGHT LED foglight.
After screwing around with trying to get inverters and correct plugs.. I wasted a huge amount of time. Lights say not to use HID's.. but is there a brighter H1 style lightbulb you can use?
