Default techworld?

I just upgraded to an 08 from my 05 and was looking today and noticed a module under the dash it says tech world on it and there is a small red push button plugged into it. Anyone know what this is

Push it and see what happens. Just make sure you are not sitting in a seat. Maybe ejection mod.

Well dealership was no help.they just looked at it and said it looks like something aftermarket lol.

Looks like an after market auto start module and the button is the valet over ride switch. Or the red button is to program the auto start features. Most dealers remove them because they never get the remote to them and they remove them. Just my thought on what it is.

TechWeb might be made by Crimestopper security systems

There are a ton of wires there. My guess is a remote start AND alarm. Just take it off and reinstall the original wires back to their color.
