Well I pulled the first spark plug (driver side) towards the grill an there was metal shards on the tip of it an no compression coming from that cylinder, if I did it correctly I pulled power connectors to all coil packs 4 each side an pulled 4 plug wires on each side removed the first plug an nothing on the gauge. Not sure if I did it correctly please someone help me with this headache of mine. Thank you guys for taking the time to respond when you can I really appreciate it.

Try the next cylinder. Metal of the plug is usually an ominous sign.

One thing that happened to my 97 360 magnum was the cat plugged and the truck sounded real quiet and I could only hear the belt & pulleys running. Punched the cat out and reinstalled it and it still runs great!. It being plugged did blow my valve seals out.

Don't jump all over the place. Do a full compression check. Go from there. You wasting time and maybe money. Guessing and jumping from what if to what if.

This. Troubleshoot methodically. Eliminate obvious, simple things first. Compression check will isolate the problem.

Make sure you only take ONE plug out per cylinder and replace that spot with the compression tester!. Don't take both out or you'll have NO compression!
