Default 03 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi

I have an 03 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.7 liter hemi I was headed to work it started idling up and down just enough to where you can hear it through the exhaust let off the gas and it died I tried starting it back and it sounded like timing chain ,took timing cover off timing chain was fine in time and has compression all fuel systems are just fine only codes are showing are small evap leak other than that nothing need help no clue whats going on any one can help please let me know.

i dont know yet it got dark n me today so i quit so i can get a fresh start on it in the morning it was running fine then just died and wont start back ive tried multiple times

it has good fuel pressure and spark i changed the crank shaft sensor and it seems like its out of time i checked the timing on it and its in time but still cranks fast. i checked the cam and its fine it acts like its out of time but i dont know its confusing me and my dad

It needs both cam and crank signals to start.

when i crank it over it coughs through the fuel injection and still cranks really fast ive looked at 3 diagrams on how to time it but i dont know which one is right so it might be in time or it might not.. parts stores can't pull the diagram up either do you know how it times?

Very rare for newer vehicles to jump time. What is your fuel pressure? Will it start with a little ether?

it wont do anything just turn really fast

If it has fuel and spark, it should run. Something is missing.
