Trying to decide on which performance chip will give me the most HP and overall performance. The Jet Stage 2 or Superchip 3842?
What's your opinion?

 

One guy here have superchip on his 2012 claiming it shifts better and good throttle response and power. Good improvement on towing around 7k lbs camper.

 

Jet chips are junk. Tuner is the way to go.

 

it all depends on what motor you have, forget jet chips totally, but if you have upgraded mods in your truck and want a decent tune go sct. superchips are just tunes that you download off internet. sct, you are able to upload info from your truck, and send it over the internet and have them write you specific tunes for your driving or towing habits, makes for a fun filled weekend trying out new stuff. hemifevertuning.com writes my nitrous tunes, look into him Sean is his name

 

Superchips will actually change the tune in your truck. Given time the PCM will learn it's way around the Jet chip. Plus, depending on what year you have you can tune the transmission with the Superchips.

 

That's like choosing between a hot dog and a ribeye steak - the SC being the ribeye.

Although if you're heavily modded, a custom tune would be even better. Stock or near stock, the canned tunes on an SC would be the way to go...

I have a Superchip and it allowed me to change my max speed to 145, change my max RPM to 6000 and change your shiftpooints as well. If done right you can gain a noticeable amt of HP and TQ
