Default Gauge or battery issue?

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 2 Wheel Drive 4.7 engine 130,000 miles. Recently when I start the vehicle my amp gauge takes a couple of seconds before moving to the center or slightly past center, occasionally my temp gauge will also go to "H" when initially started and stay there until it is shut off and restarted and then becomes normal and check gauge light goes off. The battery is two years old and seems to test ok with a volt meter. Any ideas what may be going on?

Try this

Hold the odometer button in then turn ignition on while still holding the odometer button in. You will see all your gauges go through a check and maybe reset them.
If you still have your problem remove you battery cable for five minutes this will reset the main computer, that might help.

If you still have the problem maybe your cluster might have problems.

Good luck
