My dad has an 03 hemi ram quad cab 4x4 laramie. Were trying to figure out which ratio he got. Any info on what available ones they had at the time? Thanks. I'm really curious and this help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Does the truck have the 20" tires. I believe if he does, he probably has the 3.92 rear end and probably has the LSD rearend. I believe it was standard on the Laramie's. It was standard on my 04 when I ordered the Laramie pkg.

 

The 1500s were available with 3.55 or 3.92 gears
The Heavy Duties were available with the 3.73 or 4.10 gears

 

Open the glove box, it should be on a sticker in there. Should also be on a sticker wrapped around the axle housing.

 

Thanks man! I was wondering what he had! I was afraid he had the 3.55, but it turns out he had the 3.92! I'm so glad right now.

This might be my truck when i get my license so thats why i ask.
