I've been happy with Silverstars.

I have no desire to mess with anything that isn't plug and play. I've read too many stories here on this forum of people having nothing but recurring problems after "easy" mods to their lights.

HIR's? Yes I don't want to do any major modifications. I would like a reliable easy HID kit if there was one.

HIR's are direct replacement. Much better suited for stock housings than HID.

HID's are plug and play and fit into stock housing perfect. Had in my truck for 8 years with a few replacements. Nothing looks or lights the road up like HID's. I have tried every bulb known to man. You can get a kit for headlights and fogs for about $20-25 per kit on ebay. Tape up all your connections. Get a kit with 2 yr. warranty plenty of them out there.

Who makes HIR bulbs? I never heard of them. Be nice to have no ballast one less thing that can break. Are they new?

http://opt-7.com/opt7-hid-kit-headlight/ I may look into these.

HIR bulbs are made for my 9006 Fogs but not for the 9007 Head lights.
