Default Front Propeller Driveshaft Bad - Suggestions?

My front driveshaft is making a clunking noise when slowing at a crawl to a stop. when I looked underneath & shook the shaft it was definitely at the CV joint on the front driveshaft as the rubber has been torn & the grease long since thrown everywhere. Note it's not my CV boots but on the front driveshaft.

With that said, what options do I have for repair? Any special things to note? Anyone have a tutorial on the repair / replacement of this?

Here is a photo of one site which looks to make a improved total replacement shaft, and it shows the factory item above the new one.

On the transfer case side it's a cv joint. Not sure if it is replaceable. Or if it's a drive shaft replacement.

I am surprised more people havent had suggestions to this problem. It's pretty bad when one looks at all the failures on Ram trucks, Jeeps, Durango's, Dakota's all having a similar set up front prop shaft.

Last week I ordered and replaced the CV Joint with the Dorman 932-305 High Speed Driveshaft CV Joint (kit). Not only was it a total nightmare to do but it failed within 500 miles. So now I have to find a better replacement, asking around at a couple local parts stores, they told me Dorman has gone in the toilet. They see around 80% of Dormans products failing across the board so they avoid selling them.

I am open to suggestions ASAP. Gotta make a decision today.
