Default Transmission stuck in limp mode

Hello everyone. I am stuck in limp mode and have done lots of things to get out but no success.
This is a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 6.7 Diesel with the 68RFE transmission. I have replaced the valve body and shift solenoid from the dealers parts dept, replace line sensor. gaskets, filters etc. Still no go but it shifts really well now up to 4th where it stays. It does however try to shift into 5th once in awhile but falls back to 4th every time.
So now i am down to changing the TCM (trans control module) and pretty much run out of money and time. So i am looking to buy a used TCM cause it is so much cheaper than a new one.
The actual number that is given for this truck is RL150267AC. But i have located one with the number of 68053123AC off a 2009 with 6.7 and 68RFe and was wondering if it would work on mine. Does it need to be programmed to fit mine.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
