Just purchase an 07 1500, and have seen 101 posts about keyless entry in 05 and older models, and '10 and newer, but have not seen anything specific to the 07 line.

According to chrysler parts, the keyless module #82207153 fits the 07 Ram, but other websites show this as only working up to the 2005 models.

First question would be, has anyone successfully installed this part on an 07 model?

Second question, would the module be installed on the back of the instrument panel? (If so, I'd open up the console to check if there is already one there)

 

If I'm looking at the right thing, it's mounted on the column by the ignition switch.
