Default 2008 dodge ram 1500 HEADLIGHT ISSUE!

Standing directly in front of the truck the driverside lowbeam doesnt come on when switch on. The passenger side is working. took the known good halogen bulbs i have and tested them all on the passengerside and all works now when i tested the driverside with the known good lights still no power. Then i used a multimeter to check voltage on the driverside connector when low beams are switched on and i get 12.6 volts so im really confused and could use some help.

So high beam works on the driver side? Sounds like a bad socket connection to the bulb. Pull the bulb out and check the voltage inside the socket.

Yes sir, high beam works on both headlamps. low beam is my issue i have been reading further into this and online mentioned to jump the wht/tan to the low beam in the black and blue box in the engine compartment. to get an understanding if i am standing in the front of the truck looking at the headlamp it is the driver side but sitting in the drivers seat its the left headlamp so what is the proper understanding witch light im dealing with to properly read you guys the correct wire colors to get further assistance.

Both Driver's side and Left are correct. I would rather you check the bulb socket for 12 volts on the low beam contact. There have been instances where, due to corrosion, bent connection, or loose or broken wire in the socket have caused this problem.
If there is voltage on the back of the socket and the bulb does not come on, and you know the bulb is good, the socket must be bad.

You said here that you did have 12 volts.

Are you talking about connecting the left low beam to the right low beam headlight wiring?
I don't know if the electronics feeding the right low beam can handle the current draw of two headlights.
It might burn it out.
I suspect that is why they made them separate.

mistaken that this was high beam side when i first tested before i had the correct wiring diagram....

Low beam- no power and when low beam switched off there is continuity, thinking about circuit

Right low beam wt/tn- white and tn voltage without bulb 12.38V and test with bulb 11.32V

Left low beam wt/db- white and dark blue NOPOWER. so i decided to take a electrical wire splice that into white and dark blue and run it into the right low beam socket to check if bulb illuminates wich it does it may not be correct but, i can not figure out how few days ago it was working and all the sudden quit... A little confused not having a simple fuse.

I just looked at the "2008 Chassis Cab Lighting Capacity Per Unit" chart, and it says that the "maximum steady output" is 13 Amps for the high beam and low beam drivers. I have no idea how much current your bulbs draw, but if the combination of both bulbs attached to the right low beam driver output draw is close to 13 amps, you may cause it to burn out and have no low beams at all.
It also under "Additional Bulbs Allowed" says "None".

There is an alternative, connect the low beams to relays and have the right low beam driver control the relays.
