Well I bought a 2007 3500 1 ton hemi.I was lied to full on by the now moved owner.I know someone is thinking ,why didn't you have it checked out first.I did and with all new front end and a showroom clean engine.My mech buddy said it was a great deal,never even towed this truck 189,00 km.Long story short drove it a little farther 30 min .Engine light came on ,then I stopped and checked oil,yes oil ok.then started it up again knocking sound and oil pressure dropped and moved back and forth.Checked oil again ,low oil.So added 2 qaurts
and drove it home.Mech buddy coded it and said oil is making it past crank when it gets hot.Too make up for his bad call he has offered to get a replacement engine off kijij.Said cheaper than redoing the crank ,lots of hemis out their cheap.Does this sound right to you guys or should I have a rebuild done in stead of motor swap.Any and all advice would very much be appreciated .Thank-You DirtHogg

If you are replacing the engine. If you do a crate engine it will have a warranty.
