Default Ride too stiff!!normal?

Hi, i just got a 04 2wd ram 1500, its really nice and the ex owner did just installed a rc 3 inch suspension lift, with 33" maxxis big horn mud tires. So it drives good but very stiff and rough on small road imperfections and man holes, i mean it rides like a lowered sport car, very stiff and hit small bumps on the road very hard . i did try a stock ram before and the ride was nice and smooth. Ia it because of the lift or is it the tires type? I only put 35psi of air and still the same.

Depends on if he screwed up the lift install.

What load range are the tires, and are they properly inflated?

the pressure is at only 32psi, the install should be ok, dont get me wrong, trucks rides great on good road, but when it get rough it just dont absorb small bumps well, therefore feeling hard and stiff and shaky , but bigger dips and bumps taking them very well

There's your problem.

Yeah, those sidewalls are made of carbon fiber, concrete, and duct tape...

Not really, of course, but they are very stiff and meant for heavy duty lifting and towing.

The tires are probably a big part of the equation, but I'd research those shocks, too. Look for reviews and see if others feel they ride stiff, too. You'd definitely benefit from a softer side wall, for sure, but the shocks might be a cheaper "fix" to at least make it tolerable.

As for tires, pretty much anything in a lesser load range. I really liked the DuraTracs I had on my truck for a couple years. Some have had and seen sidewall failures on our big, heavy vehicles, but I abused mine for three years on road and off road, and never had a problem with them. Hell, I threw that truck around German country roads and even had it on the Nürburgring with no issues whatsoever -- I'd buy another set.
