Just recently bought a 2008 with the Hemi in it. Trying to figure out what kind of exhaust I want to put on it. Kind of a toss up between Flowmaster and MBRP. I really like the sound/loudness of the Flowmaster Super 44's, I had them in a true dual setup on my previous truck which was a GMC 2500HD with the 6.0L. It wasn't too loud, for me anyways, but pretty much right where I like it. However, I know the flow of the Flowmaster mufflers are quite awful, which is why I'm thinking about switching it up. Magnaflow's have always seemed like they're much quieter than most other manufacturers. That brings us to the MBRP, I've seen a few videos on YouTube and they all sound pretty good, but I'm just not sure they have the same "loudness" as a Flowmaster? Any other suggestions are welcome. Will be doing a SI/DO muffler with tailpipes coming out the back at a 45 degree angle.

Is the Magnaflow not more quiet though?

 

A little quitter than flowmaster. Flowmaster are not that great for performance. They have baffles inside the will break the welds a rattle.
