Not sure of the exact amount, but what I do is catch all that comes out, measure that using an old 5 qt oil jug, and then put the same amount back in. Then making sure it is at the proper level the normal way. Just dropping the pan will not completely drain the transmission.

What do I do to completely drain the trans, I thought dropping the pan would let out all of the fluid, is there something else to drain?

Torque converter. Only way to completely change all the fluid is with a flush. But that is not recommended.

When I did my drop 'n' drain, it took seven quarts. Just a pan drop will not remove all the fluid. There'll be ~ nine quarts left.
