So I should prep for the whole tank being bad?
Or just focus on the seal?

Perhaps I should just drop the tank and do that myself.
It would get my year off to a good start if I could get this Evap code taken care of and back to running with no CELs.

Follow up here. Purge valve passed all tests. I gave in and took it to another shop. They found the issue. Hairline crack in my carbon tank. Could tell it was from hitting something under the truck. Because it was in the carbon tank, no smoke came out of it during smoke test. Had to pay like 175$ for a new carbon tank. all good here.
