3rd backup/brake light problems

So I have an 04 RAM 1500 5.7L, and when in reverse or when hitting my brakes, nothing works up top. But when I turn my cargo switch on from inside or when I press my unlock button on the key, it lights up perfectly. Any suggestions on what I could be dealing with?
