Hey all, I know this probably has been asked but i couldn't find exactly what i was looking for. About a month or so ago, I had my 4WD engaged. I took it out of 4wd and everything was fine. Next thing i knew, when i tried to put it back in to 4WD Lock, the light just flashed but it wouldn't engage. I can hear it trying, but it wasn't happening. Oddly, at the same time my cruise control stopped working, it just stopped working as i was using it. I had it in the shop today and a new actuator was put in and it didn't fix the problem. The wiring is all fine. They say it might be the fuse panel, and we could replace it for $1100 plus labour, but it would be a gamble to see if it was actually the problem. Has anyone had the same problem with the 4WD and the cruise control quitting at the same time? I know nothing of mechanics, but i need some help and suggestions.

Cruise is usually the left front bearing hub assembly. Not sure if it is related. Fix the hub first. If you still have an issue maybe the encoder motor on the transfer case.
