on the hinges there is a plate that keeps the door from opening all the way or will hold it open when its open is that interchangeable from one side to the other i have one hinge that is going to need full replacement but the other that plate just got egged out and wont hold a bushing its where the spring holds the plate against a roller

im desperate for some answers cause the passenger door will be tied shut if i take that plate off. at least until i can get another hinge to replace it. it wont open or close very easy right now but if i can use that part ill risk opening it one more time till im reade to replace the hinge thats on it.
