Anyone had trouble with putting a car alarm/car starter in an 05? I have brought mine back 5 times already because the alarm randomly goes off. Tried two different models. Still the same thing. The guy who installed it has been talking with alarms tech support and still cant get it fixed!!! FYI - Its an UltraStart Alarm. They said it has to do with the computer in the truck going to sleep and cause the alarm to go off. Dont know how true that is. I am being patient because I got a really good deal.... $200 off what other places are charging for it. But I am just about ready to go some where else. What alarm does everyone have on their truck?

 

i have never had any problems with my alarm. i have the viper 791xvr. its awesome! really good range and looks sharp. remote start is greati love it.
i say go with the viper and be happy, it is al little expensive though, i think after everything including install it came to like $700.00 dlls or somthing like that, but when it comes to protecting you
dodge i was willing to pay any price! i hope this helps
