Default Is a CAI even worth it?

Ive had my K&N for about 6 years now and was wondering if should put the stock air box back on. I mean is it possible that it could be harmful? as it does suck in so much more air, which mean more dust, pollen ...etc.?

Leave it on. It's not hurting anything. (or helping either). Choice is yours.

It won't hurt putting the stock airbox back in, when you put the K&N in did you remove the resonator (hat)?

I did remove the hat originally then put the hat back on because I didnt like all the noise without it.
